About New Villager Volunteers

The New Villagers Club is staffed and run with volunteers.  These are club members who enjoy helping their friends reap all of the benefits that the organization offers.

In addition to the elected Board of Directors, volunteers serve as Chairpersons of the various committees.

At each monthly social there are volunteer Greeters who welcome newcomers and help them begin the process of membership enrollment.

Other volunteers serve as Mentors, escorting first time attendees on a familiarity tour and explaining each of the activities. (An initial stop at the bar, for a beverage of their choice is always a good ice-breaker.) The primary purpose of the Mentor is to make the newcomers feel welcome to what will probably be the largest circle of friends they have ever had.

Becoming a volunteer is easy.  One of the tables at the social is a Volunteer table.  Stop by, see Marilyn Kanwischer and sign up.  This is a great way to help your Club and make new friends.
