9:30 Arrival – Rafting – BBQ lunch at 1 PM

$33 per person for Rafting.

$15 per person for Lunch

$48 per person for Rafting & Lunch

Ocoee Whitewater Rafting:

· 5 mile rafting trip in the Cherokee National Forest on Class III & IV rapids

· Trained guides will take 6 people per raft (no experience necessary)

· Each person will be provided a life vest, helmet and paddle

Bring:

· Swim suits or quick dry shorts, old tennis shoes or water shoes

· Change of dry clothes for after rafting

· Towel and shower items (changing room and showers available for your use)

Directions: (Driving will take approx. 1 ½ hours)

1. Tellico Parkway (444)

2. Left on TN 72 to 411

3. Right on 411 (toward Madisonville) to Hwy 68 (exit 411 to the right)

4. Left on Hwy 68 (past Tellico Plains) to Ducktown – about 45 miles

5. In Ducktown

a. Proceed through traffic light

b. Continue ¼ mile

6. Watch for green sign on the left for “TN Department of Transportation”, which shares the driveway with Ocoee Rafting.

7. Turn in and continue up the hill
